    Our client is a leading software supplier to the public transport industry and you may have seen their public-facing mobile and web systems at Transport for London and other leading companies in the transport industry. 

    The Role: 
    We are currently recruiting a full time, Senior Management Accountant, predominantly working remotely, with one day a week at our client’s office in Chippenham. This person will act as a business partner and will be directly responsible for a Business Unit. 

    Main Responsibilities: 

    Business Support: Business Partner for one solid performing business units. Provide financial support to the business and assist/lead quarterly forecasts and leveraging their proprietary metrics to ensure high business performance. Assist project teams to guide their focus onto key performance issues and help them measure their impact and improvement. 

    Reporting: Internal and external reporting including monthly and quarterly reporting to Canada and statutory audit of the annual report. Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, Management reports, KPIs and variance analysis. Experiences with accounting guidelines both internally and externally and IFRS experience is a plus but not a requirement. 

    Finance: Calculate and process royalties and sales commission. Responsible for credit control procedure and cash flow statements, intercompany balances, prepayments, accruals. Corporation tax experience is a plus but not required. 

    Skills and Experience Required: 

    ACA, ACCA or ACMA with at least 2 years post qualification  

    Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, Look-up functions 

    Good communication skills, comfortable interacting with different stakeholders throughout the organisation. 

    Strong organisational abilities, experience of working to tight deadlines and a hands-on approach to finance. 

    Able and willing to take ownership, responsibility and accountability for work.

    Good sense of humour, with the ability to create and maintain excellent communication between different stakeholders.
