SAP PM Engineering Solutions Manager
Our client is one of the largest transport services organisations in Europe and they have an ambitious growth agenda. They are now looking to grow an already talented team by appointing a SAP Solutions Manager (Plant Maintenance), to the Technology and Systems area of the business.
This SAP Solutions Manager (PM) is a new role within the organisation with lots of possibility for growth.The focus is on a multi-domain, large-scale, long-term implementation. This programme will implement a common ERP platform and ways of working across the business and is an exciting opportunity for a heavy weight programme manager looking for a challenging role with the opportunity to affect real value and change in a complex and multicultural environment. We are looking for someone who has worked on complex international ERP implementation, and budgets exceeding £25m.
The person in this role will report directly to the ERP Engineering Solution Owner and will be responsible to:
•Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the core engineering processes;
•Act as the primary tester for new functionality, working with consultants;
•Manage the change request process (for Project and BAU) for the Engineering solution;
•Provide System support (ticket management) as required inc;
-Support key centralized technical services (e.g. administration of classifications);
-System configuration activities as required;
•Engage with key business representatives to support business change activities and build strong relationships with Engineering Stakeholders;
•Support the Engineering Workstream through required decision making to preserve data standardization for Engineering.
•Strong ERP background, with deep knowledge of a specific module (preferably Plant Maintenance).
•The person will have experience at working with blended teams to ensure delivery of major ERP transformation.
•Good integration experience with other ECC 6.0 modules, specifically MM.
•Experience in diverse and multinational environments.
