    Our client is a leading manufacturer of sports footwear and apparel and proud of their global reputation in the market place. Year on year growth across an increasing number of sports, coupled by investment in their retail operation has led to new career opportunities, including the need to recruit a Trade Compliance Coordinator to join their busy Warrington based operation.


    The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven passion for Import/ Export and preferably have a keen interest in Sports, as well as a good understanding of Trade Compliance.



    Working closely with the Logistics team the Trade Compliance Co-Ordinator will provide support and guidelines to Sales, Operations and the Purchasing Departments. They will also aid on the buying, routing and importing processes from vendors in other regions of the World into Europe, as well as support shipping, routing and export processes from our client’s DC’s within EMEA.



    • Liaison for the customs clearance process for all EMEA countries.
    • Ensuring trade compliance between our client’s customers and suppliers.
    • Audit custom brokers for trade compliance.
    • Liaison for the export customs process for all EMEA countries.
    • Responsible for harmonized code classification and duty relief opportunities, including submission of BOI’s and BTI’s.
    • Assist the Inventory Management group to establish/review current INCO terms and support on establishing routing guides for importing goods into EMEA.
    • Supporting other members of the EMEA Logistics Team
    • Creation of customs paperwork



    • Knowledge of carriers, freight forwarders and modes of transportation.
    • Knowledge of local, domestic, national and international transportation/freight forwarding and trade compliance (Inco terms, Freight Forwarders, EMEA Trade Compliance, Letter of Credits).
    • Strong computer and keyboard skills.
    • Good presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Fluency in English, additional other languages would be an asset (Dutch).
    • Attention to detail.
    • Highly organized in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines within a fast-paced work environment.
    • Willingness to travel within UK and Europe
